Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship between cerebral infarction and carotid atherosclerosis plaque.Methods:80 patients with cerebral infarction and 80 patients without cerebral infarction were checked by ultrasound;compare the difference between the number and quality of carotid atherosclerosis plaque. Results: The number of plaque in cerebral infarction group was significantly higher than control group(P0.05);the constituent ratio of soft plaque in cerebral infarction group was higher than control group(P0.05),the constituent ratio of hard plaque and mixed plaque had no statistically difference compared with the control group(P0.05).Conclusions: The incidence of cerebral infarction is closely related to the number and quality of carotid atherosclerosis plaque.
