Abstract

In order to solve the drilling rod over heating,gas emission outburst,drilling bit jammed and low borehole completed occurred in the in-seam borehole drilling operation,a CMS1-1200/30J mine hydraulic deep borehole drilling rig was developed.The drilling rig is consisted with the hydraulic system,crawler part,working mechanism,frame,pump station and drilling tools.The research and experiment of the borehole design,new drilling tools and drilling technique showed that the application of the screw drilling rods could eliminate the heating occurred between the drilling rod wall and fine coal and could reduce the coal dust from the borehole mouth.Due to the large and effective diameter of the borehole,the fine coal could be automatically discharged with the drilling rod rotary.The average depth of the borehole could be 83.5 m and have improved the borehole drilling depth in the outburst seam.The completed rate of the boreholes could be over 65%.The seam gas releasing and gas drainage results could be improved.The gas outburst from the soft seam could be eliminated and a safety production could be ensured.
