Using MSComm control provided by Visual C + + 5. 0, it is convenient to write a serial Port communications program under Windows environment. This paper describes in detail how to introduce the MSComm control in an application program and the important properties of the MSComm control. Finally, a practical example using characteristic of event - driven communications is presented.
