Abstract

10 soybean cultivars and 2 wild soybean were treated under 38 ℃ during germination and seedling, and the effects of continuous high temperature on germination and seedling growth of soybean were studied. The results showed that continuous high temperature had no significant effects on germination rate, while had a significant influence on the seedling growth, and there were differences among different varieties. The high temperature tolerance had significant correlation with seed size and the contents of protein and fat.The high temperature tolerance of wild soybean was higher than that of cultivated soybean.
