Effect of Planting Density on Plant Type of Determinate Soybean with Short Stature and Dense-resistant Traits

Abstract

In order to expore the plant type change regular of determinate soybean with dwarf and dense-resistant type under the planting density from 1.5×105 to 5.5×105 plants·ha-1.Soybean variety Jimidou No.1 was used as experimental material,and the dynamic change of plant height,stem nodes number,internode length,stem diameter,branch number and leaf area index(LAI)were determined.Internode lenghth increased with the increasing of planting density,hence the plant height also notably increased.Higher planting density caused the lengthen of internode lenghth at low layer.Stem diameter thinned,branch number decreased with the increasing of the density.LAI showed increase and then decrease trend with the increasing of planting density.The value of LAImax and its appearance time varied with planting density,and LAImax of 5.5×105 plants·ha-1 treatment was highest(5.20)and appeared ealiest(60 days after emergence).With the increasing of density,the distribution of the leaves was tend to the upper layer.Soybean variety Jimidou No.1 got the highest yield under the density of 3.9×105 plants·ha-1.
