Abstract

Objective To investigate drug resistance and the deletion of outer membrane channel protein oprD2 gene in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Methods Agar dilution method was used to detect the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MIC) of P.aeruginosa, polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was used to amplify oprD2 gene. Results The first and the second detection rate of P.aeruginosa are ICU ward and respiratory ward, which accounted for 50.8% and 23.1%;of the 65 clinical isolates, the resistant rate to cefoperazone/sulbactam was the lowest(30.8%),the second is imipenem(38.5%),meropenem(40.0%) and amikacin(46.2%);In the 25 strains of imipenem-resistant P.aeruginosa,19 strains were lack of outer membrane channel protein oprD2 gene, the loss rate of which is 76.0%.Conclusion The drug resistance phenomenon of P.aeruginosa is serious;the loss or reduction of outer membrane protein OprD2 may contribute to the resistance of P.aeruginosa to imipenem.
