Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of detection of blood glucose(Glu) and urea nitrogen(BUN) in patients with cerebral hemorrhage for the disease development and prognosis.Method The concentrations of serum Glu and blood BUN in the acute phage and convalescence were detected respectively in 148 cases with cerebral hemorrhage, and the control group was setted up simultaneously. Results The values of Glu and BUN had great disparity between the detected group and the control group(P0.01).The concentrations of Glu and BUN raised significantly in the acute phage, and it had relationship with the severity of disease.Glu and BUN were obviously higher in the critical patients than slightly patients. Conclusion Serum glucose and blood urea nitrogen are significantly in the supervising and assessing prognosis of cerebral hemorrhage.
