Abstract

It is very important for seismic disaster preparedness and mitigation , rehabilitating to investigate and assessment earthquake disaster. According to the professional regulation and condition of Yajing-kangding M6.0 earthquake, this paper determines the principle and method of seismic disaster assessment, divides several evaluating sub-regions, and finally obtains the economic losses of this M6.0 earthquake and proposes some suggestions for the governments to prevent and reduce earthquake disaster.
