Abstract

Objective:To discuss the value of serum tumor markers CEA,CA125,NSE and CYFRA21-1 in diagnosing lung cancer. Methods:The serum levels of CEA,CA125,NSE and CYFRA21-1 were measured by chemiluminescence immunoassay(CLIA) and electrochemiluminescence immunoassay(ECLIA) in 50 patients with lung cancer,38 patients with benign lung diseases and 42 healthy persons. The data was analyzed by the statistical SPSS13.0 software. Results:Serum levels and positive rates of four tumor markers in patients with lung cancer were significantly higher in cancer group than that in benign pulmonary disease group and healthy control group(P0.05).The positive rates of CEA and CA125 were 55.6% in patients with adenocarcinoma of lung, rate of NSE was 87.5% in small cell lung cancer, and rate of CYFRA21-1 was 80.0% in squamous cell carcinoma.Compared to single detection, the sensitivity and accuracy of combined detection of the four tumor markers were improved significantly. Conclusions:Combined detection of serum tumor markers CEA,CA125,NSE and CYFRA21-1 can improve the sensitivity and accuracy of lung cancer diagnosis and contribute to the pathological type identification of lung cancer.
