Abstract
Content changes of endogenous hormones during flower bud differentiation of Vernicia fordii(Hemsl.) were determined and analyzed. The results showed that the contents of ZR,GA,IAA and ABA decreased before flower bud differentiation ,while the ratios of ZR/GA,ZR/IAA,ABA/GA,ABA/IAA increased; during flower bud differentiation, both content and ratio changed in fixed range at a higher level. From the end of flower bud differentiation, contents of ZR,GA,IAA and ABA increased slightly before flower bud differentiation, while the ratios of ZR/GA,ZR/IAA,ABA/GA,ABA/IAA increased. Balance and interaction among endogenous hormones promoted the differentiation of flower bud.
