Abstract
Sorption /desorption properties o f phenanthrene on sediment in West Lake were studied. Both sorption and desorption can reach equilibriumin less than 8hour s.Under the conditions of the presen t experiment, the sorption of phenan threne on sediment was characterized bySisothermand may be well described by Freundlich equation. It was reflected that there was symmetrical surface in the sediment. It was found that the cu rves of multi -step sorption /desorp tion experiments were step -wise and phenanthrene irre-versibly adsorbed onto the sediment .It may be explained that the irreversible sorption was caused by the high content of organic matters in the sediment.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
