Comprehensive Acupuncture and Massage Therapy in Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Rehabilitation

Objective To observe the physical therapy such as acupuncture and massage therapy on the lumbar intervertebral disc rehabilitation.Methods In line with the standards included in the patients with lumbar disc herniation 60 cases were randomly divided into observation and control groups.In the control group used the treatment of lumbar traction,the 1st day;observation group acupuncture,massage,physical therapy,such as an integrated approach,1st day,the two groups are treated on an observation of the two sets of clinical efficacy.Results After the assessment of the two therapies it shows that in observation group the clinical effects are excellent on 16 patients fine on 10 patients negative on 3 patients and negative on 1 patient while excellent on 10 patients fine on 7 patients approved on 8 patients negative on 5 patients in control group.Significant difference is indicated on the comparing of the coinical effects of the two groups(P0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture and massage therapy and lumbar traction therapy is the treatment of lumbar disc herniation in an effective manner.
