Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with massage for treatment lumbar disc herniation. Methods 60 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into acupuncture combined with massage group and individual massage group, 30 patients in each group. The patients in the individual massage group received massage therapy, on the basis of this, the patients in the acupuncture combined with massage therapy group received acupuncture treatment, the clinical effect were evaluated after treatment. Results The clinical total effectiveness of the acupuncture combined with massage group was 90.00%, significantly better than that(76.67%) of the individual massage group, with statistically significant difference between groups(P0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture combined with massage for treatment of lumbar disc herniation, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of the patients, improve the clinical curative effect, it is worthy of popularization and application.
