Abstract

Laozi is a speculative philosopher,and he developed the tao-centered philosophical system.Laozi's theory about tao does not merely lie in the academic exploration,meanwhile his aim is to have tao;his theory of tao is associated with life,ethic,and politics.His whole teaching is to expound that what is tao and how to get tao.Tao-te-ching,so to speak,is a tao-gotten one.The philosophy of Laozi gives us the inspiration that tao is an endless progress of developing,and that the probing concerning tao and tao-gotten is indefinite.This just is Laozi's perpetual enchantment of thought.
