Lao Zi's Theory of Tao and its Enlightenment on Value Orientation of Modern Education

Abstract

Laozi's theory of involves rich and profound thought,mainly including following nature,the character of Tao,the function of Tao andthe acting of Tao.Based on the above,Laozi proposed letting things take their own,being civilized by self-consciousness,teaching without words,behaving by human nature and not being arrogant for one's achievement in education.His nature-oriented thought has great enlightenment on modern education.
