Abstract
To further study commutation issues from topological structure,a mathematical model of TwoStage Matrix Converter( TSMC) is built. Based on this model, the filter circuit of the input side, the output voltage frequency conversion, and the dual space vector modulation strategy by S function are studied. A simulation model is established accordingly by MATLAB / SIMULINK. The simulation results show that the TSMC control strategy is feasible by the dual space vector modulation. The filter circuit of the input side can solve the problem of current distortion due to on-off action.
