Abstract
A generic component-level simulation model of a turbofan engine was developed using graphical modularization technology in MATLAB/SIMULINK graphical simulation environment. With modular block library of SIMULINK and S-function of MATLAB,the goal of this model is to develop a four-layered,modular and highly visible engine structure facing structural diagram.Dynamic simulation was made in SIMULINK,and the model was validated from test data curve. This provides a flexible simulation platform for future research on engine control and fault diagnostics.
