Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constituents of Inula racemosa. METHODS:The samples were separated and purified by silica gel,RP silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography and the structures of chemical compound were analyzed and identified by physicochemical property and spectral analysis. RESULTS:Six compounds were obtained and identified as:11α,13-dihydroxydehidrocostuslactone(1),11,13-dihydro-7,11-dehydro-13-hydroxy-3-desoxyzaluzanin C(2),1 β-hydroxyco- lartin(3),β-sitosterolglucoside(4),β-sitosterol(5),syringaresinol(6). Compounds 1,2,3 and 6 were isolated from the plant for the first time. CONCLUSION:The trial can provide reference for the further study of I. racemosa.
