Marine industry technology support efficiency evaluation based on DEA

Scientific and technical support in the development of marine industry as the main object of study.This paper evaluates the scientific and technological input-output efficiency of 11 coastal provinces or cities' marine industry based on the data envelopment analysis.The conclusion show that in our country,marine industry has developed rapidly in different regions,however, science and technology input-output efficiency differ,marine industry contribution rate of science and technology are quite different.Marine industry technology investment inadequate in Tianjin, Liaoning and Guangxi,overcapacity in Shanghai and Shandong,and marine industry input-output technology exists imbalances in Jiangsu and Hebei.Accordingly,we recommend that rational allocation of technology resources in the marine industry,improve science and technology utilization of marine industry.
