Abstract
A novel solid superacid catalyst S2O2-8/V2O5-Fe2O3 was prepared by maceration method,using V2O5 as precursor,doped with(NH4)2 S2O8 and Fe2O3.The catalytic performance of the prepared catalyst was evaluated by esterification of acetic acid and benzyl alcohol.The optimum conditions for the preparation of solid superacid S2O2-8/V2O5-Fe2O3 were found as follows: mole ratio n(V2O5):n(Fe2O3)=1.0:1.0,concentration of impregnating solution(NH4)2S2O8 1.5 mol/L,calcining temperature 350 ℃,and calcining time 3 h.
