Abstract
Objective To Study the expression of HPV16E6、HPV16E7 oncoproteins in cervical carcinoma and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.Methods The expressions of HPV16 E6 and HPV16 E7 oncoproteins were detected by immunohistochemistry in 15 cases of normal cervices,25 cases of CINs and 61 cases of invasive cervical carcinomas.Results The positive rates of HPV16E6 protein were 0(0/15),7.14%(1/14),36.36%(4/11) and 59.02%(36/61) in normal cervices,CINⅠ~Ⅱ,CIN Ⅲ and invasive cervical cancers respectively.The expression of HPV16 E6 oncoprotein were markedly higher in CIN Ⅲ and invasive cervical cancers than in normal cervices and CINⅠ~Ⅱ(P0.05).The positive rates of HPV16E6 oncoprotein was 45.45%(5/11),(77.78%)(14/18),53.13%(17/32) in histological grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ of cervical carcinoma,respectively,showing a significant difference between any of the two groups(P0.05),but the expression of HPV16E6 oncoprotein was not correlated with the histological grades(γs=0.123),the clinical stage and lymph node status(P0.05).The positive rate of HPV16 E7 oncoprotein was 20.00%(3/15),(42.86%)(6/14),63.64%(7/11) and 57.38%(35/61) in normal cervices,in CINⅠ~Ⅱ,in CIN Ⅲ,in invasive cervical cancers respectively.The expression of HPV16E7 was not correlated with the pathological grade,the histological grade,the clinical stage and the lymph node metastases of cervical carcinoma(P0.05).Conclusion HPV16 E6 detection may be a valuable indicator of the prognosis for premalignant cervical lesion.
