Clinical analysis of surgical treatment of tibial plateau fractures:report of 64 Cases

Objective To investigate the operative ways of tibial plateau fractures.Methods To anlalyse 64 cases of tibial plateau fractures patients who were classified according to schatczker classification 2～4.The tibial plateau fractures were treated with open reduction and internal fixation with buttress plates.All which sank over 1.5 cm were treated with persons'bone grafts.Results The following-up was 5～36 months(average 14 months).According to Merchant grade standerd,the excellent and good results were 85.4%.Conclusion The open reduction and internal fixation are suited for the shifted tibial plateau fracture.Type 2,3,4 cases should be grafted.
