A Case Study QoS Mechanism Based on MPLS

Abstract

MPLS type to realize QoS an important tool.By configuring the MPLS,data packet switching is based on label,rather than on the basis of the target address to exchange routing.MPLS support different features,and its comprehensive utilization of the network core exchange technology and routing technology of the network edge,through the reasonable control of network traffic to flow evenly distributed on the Internet,so as to achieve the aim of improving the overall performance.When there is a real-time business transmission network,QoS is required.Experiments show that: based on the MPLS network QoS than based on IP network QoS provides better performance.
