Abstract

There are two ways to guarantee QoS in MPLS network: MPLS traffic engineering and integrated IP with QoS architecture. The technology of applying DiffServ in MPLS networks, which takes advantage of both traffic engineering and DiffServ, is one of the promising ways to provide QoS guarantee in MPLS network. Based on the technology, a QoS management architecture for MPLS network as well as its implementation is presented.
