The stock right splitting reform establishes system basis and supplies the interest motivation for the institutional investors’ role in corporate governance, government policy creates a good chance for institutional investors’ development. With market’s progressive standardization and development of institutional investors, this paper points out that institutional investors must be an efficient participant in corporate governance.
