The Literature Review of Institutional Investors Participating in Corporate Governance

Abstract
As a special financial institution,institutional investors have become the focus of interest in research of corporate governance. The article first introduced the rise of institutional investors activism,summarized the types of institutional investors,then presented the factors of institutional investors from participating in corporate governance. Secondly,it elaborated the theory of the influence of institutional investors on corporate governance,then analyzed the advantages and realization of the institutional investors to participate in corporate governance.Through the presented and discussed of existing literature on institutional investors,we could enrich the theory of institutional investors,and could provide some reference for solving these problems in our country.
