Abstract
The male sterile line “AB 91” of sweet pepper was used as a source of male sterility and elite inbred lines in sweet (hot) pepper as target parents. The gene of male sterility was transferred to the inbred lines by crossing, selfing and sibling. New AB lines with stable male sterility, fine horticultural characters, wilely restoring lines and high combining ability were obtained in sweet (hot) pepper. Three F 1 hybrid varieties of sweet pepper were bred by the use of transferred male sterile two-lines.
