Influence on the Art of Dun Huang by Sogdians from Wei,Jin to the Early Tang Dynasty

Sogdians constant movement happened in Dunhuang from Wei and Jin dynasties to the early of Tang dynasties.A large number of Sogdian art elements appeared in this period murals of the Dunhuang Grottoes.These can certify to the height of the Sogdian immigrants at this time.A group of Sogdian immigrant painters contributed to the Dunhuang art's prosperity and influenced and promoted the development of Dunhuang art.This paper explorating Sogdian painters'different status in this period.It can be analysed how they poured their ideas of art into the Dunhuang art from the means of decorative pattern of Dunhuang paintings.
