On the Artistic style of XIAO Hong's Novel

Abstract
XIAO Hong's novel is quite different from the traditional novels in that she weakens the plot while strengthens the mood with some poetic flavour;she seperates the artistic space while strengthens the artistic blank with the incomplete narration;she focuses on the morbid group of people instead of the individual characters;and she mixes her accounts of events from memory with the genre paintings to strengthen the novel's connotation through the symbolic words and sentences.
