Abstract
Xiao Hong is one of the best writers who are expert at building art style of their own in modern Chinese novel history. Her novel creation broke through the general novel pattern and traditional appreciation habit. She looked at her creative objects in the light of an artist. She used the approach of exercising her mind in painting and skills of composition of picture in the layout of her novels, image description, blank design and colour usage, etc. so that her novels presented a peculia aesthetic guality of poetic art.
