Abstract
In order to explore toxicological mechanisms of surfactants on acquits at the molecular level, effects of LAS on activities of ATPase and SOD in the liver and gill tissues of Carassius auratus were studied through a static toxicity experiment.The results showed that at (22.0±0.8) ℃, LAS toxicity to Carassius auratus. was quite great, and the LC50 of LAS for 24, 48, 96 h were 10.20, 8.73, and 8.43 mg/L, respectively.The activities of Na+-K+-ATPase and Mg2+-ATPase in the gill and liver tissues were decreased with increasing in LAS concentrations.When the LAS concentration was 2.0 mg/L, there were significant restraining effects on the gill tissues, and extremely significant restraining effects on the liver tissues.The SOD activities in the gill and liver tissues of Carassius auratus were activated when LAS lower than 4.0 mg/L, but inhibited when LAS higher than 4.0 mg/L. Meanwhile, the effects of LAS on ATPase and SOD in the liver tissues were, at the same concentration levels, greater than those in the gill tissues.
