Continuous improvement of nursing-degree care quality and its effects

Objective To make a follow-up investigation of nursing-degree care quality.Method The questionnaire was used at the departments where nursing-degree care had been carried out.Results The satisfaction rate of the patients who received the first-degree nursing care but could take care of themselves increased from 79.93% up to 84.70%.The satisfaction rate of the patients who received the first-degree nursing care and couldn’t take care of themselves increased from 68.78% up to 86.09%.Their complains about nursing care decreased from 5 cases to 1 case annually. Conclusion With the supervision of the patient care,quality control of nursing department and active participation of staff in the nursing unit,nursing care has been improved.Patients’ increasing health needs can be met through effective control and law issue enhancement.
