Abstract
Urban space was a spatial form which was composed by buildings,and also displayed by a series of urban functions.Shaping urban space reasonable is one of the approaches which do benefits on sustainable city.This paper analysis of the evolution of urban space in the perspective of architectural design,then the issues on urban space in line with rapid urbanization in China have been discussed.Contemporary,the association between architectural design and urban space was summarized in this research as well.At the end of this paper,some creative views and methods on improving urban space were proposed on the ground of the architectural space functions and respect protect to the urban contexts.
