The Study of the Evolvement of Housing Policies for Lower-income Households inthe United States in the 20th Century

Abstract

This text introduces a brief history of federal housing policies for lowerincome households in the U.S. in the 20th Century, and studies the implementing effect of three typical housing policies based on the threemarket filtering model. The Rent Voucher Program is an effective program for the lowerincome households. It can give us an advice of how to work out the housing policies for the lowerincome households in P. R. China from now on.
