Strategies on Revival of Beauty in Sound in English Translations of Classical Chinese Poems

Abstract

Classical Chinese poems have a special aesthetic charm. In order to revive the beauty in sound of original poems,the most prominent style of the original should be kept and the version should conform to the western aesthetic tastes for modern poems.Meanwhile,the choice of poem translators should be prudent,so that the English version of classical Chinese poems can truly fulfill the mission of cultural transmission and communication.
