Abstract
Although without handing any monograph about the theory of Ci down,Jiang Kui,a great famous poet of the South Song Dynasty who was good at both the poems and Ci,has made great achievements in his artistic creation of Ci which guided by the thought of poems of his own and showed his unique aesthetic ideal and pursuit.Generally,the literature theory of Ci by Jiang Kui reflected in the aesthetic pursuit with subtle flavor,deep and elegant in artistic style,thought of Ci-Music based on the lyric with melody and of Ci relied on poetry techniques,and cultural nature expressing loneliness.The insights and thought sparks of Jiang’s creative ideas are still for us worth exploring constantly though his artistic ideals in Ci can not to be realized completely as he wanted.
