Abstract

A new class of basis functions was present to construct C-B spline curves with shape parameters,This kind of curve combines the main properties of the standard C-B spline curve. The shape of such curves can be adjusted by changing the values of the shape parameters. As a new geometric modeling method,generating of such curves and surfaces can be applied in CAD/ CAM.
