C-B spline curves with two shape parameters

Abstract

A new class of basis functions was present to construct C-B spline curves with two shape parameters, This kind of curve combines the main properties of the standard C-B spline curve. The shape of such curves can be adjusted totally or locally by changing the values of the shape parameters. As a new geometric modeling method ,generating of such curves and surfaces can be applied in CAD/CAM.
