Abstract

Bai folk literature shows a strong Taoist tinge due to the long-term dissemination of Taoism.Bai folk literature possesses not only numerous Taoist figures and stories relating to these characters,but has also absorbed Taoist illusions about magic and fairyland.The Taoist features of Bai folk literature reveal the profound influence of Taoism upon Bai people and Bai people's secular mentality.
