Uroacitide from Human Urine Against Human Liver Cancer Cell Smmu 7721 in vitro and in vivo

Objective:To study the inhibitory effect of Uroacitide which is a mixture isolated and purified from human urine on human liver cancer cells in vitro and in vivo.Methods:in vitro study,MTT assay was used to determine the bioassay activity of human liver cancer cells Smmu 7721 after adding Uroacitide in incubating at 37 ℃ and 5% CO 2 for 72h.In vivo study,nude mice were injected sc with human liver cancer cells Smmu 7721,after tumor growing daily ip with Uroacitide for 10 day to observe the inhibitory effect.Results:In vitro Uroacitide at concentration in the range of 0.03～2.00 mg·mL -1,the IC 50 were 0.35～0.49 mg·mL -1.In vivo,Uroacitide of 500～2 000 mg·kg -1 can suppress the growith of human liver cancer cells Smmu 7721 in nude mice,the inhibitory rate were 38.9%～69.7%.Conclusion:Uroacitide show significant suppressing action on the growth of human liver cancer cells in vitro and in vivo.
