Abstract

Objective To analyze the distribution, drug resistance and clinical features of pathogenic bacteria isolated from the blood culture of patients with sepsis in the last 10 years. Methods The positive pathogens isolated from the blood culture of 50 patients with sepsis were analyzed and classified. Results In the isolation of 53 strains of bacteria, gram positive bacteria accounted for 52.8%;gram negative bacteria accounted for 45.3%;and fungi accounted for 1.9%.The detectable rate of staphylococcus epidermidis and other coagulase negative staphylococcus was higher than that of staphylococcus aureus.Escherichia coli and klebsiella pneumonia took the first and second place in gram negative bacteria. The average age of sepsis patients was 75.88 years old,and all of them had a fever, usually complicated with cerebrovascular disease, coronary heart disease, and diabetes.Because most patients were given the invasive treatments, their white cells,NEU% and CRP increased mostly. Conclusion In the grade Ⅱ hospital, patients with sepsis have the features of senility and multiple complications, and the main pathogen is gram positive bacteria with drug resistance. Therefore,it is required for early diagnosis and treatment to improve the cure rate.
