Study on the Marine Strategic Emerging Industries Choosing in China Based on the Grey Relation Analysis Method

The marine economy is a complex system, where the marine industry has a correlation. To accurately evaluate and scientifically select marine strategic emerging industry, according to industrial correlation standard of A. O. Hirschman, this paper uses the grey system theory and the grey correlation analysis. Firstly, this paper found out the first industry has close correlation to marine economy, it analyses the correlation between ocean the third industries and the marine economy, so it concludes that between the second ocean industry and marine economy and between the third ocean industry and marine economy, there exists larger correlation. Secondly, in order to find out the correlation between specific industry and marine economy, it analyses the correlation of between the ocean industry of the second industry and the third industry and marine economic. Finally, according to the size of marine industry correlation, at the same time, this paper comprehensively considers the basic characteristics of the marine strategic emerging industry, scientifically selects coastal tourism, marine biological pharmaceutical and seawater desalination industry and with 8 major ocean industries as marine strategic emerging industry in China.
