Abstract

Objective:To study biological characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus, the relationship between Vibrio parahaemolyticus and kinds of samples, and the drug resistance of Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains in different kinds of samples.Method:To analyse biological characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in the known kinds of samples. Results:The negtive rate of decomposing sucrose, the positive rate of Kanagawa phenomenon and the pathogenicity to mouse of Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains isolated from the patient faeces and the foods which had caused food poisoning were higher than those of Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains isolated from general sea foods.conclusion:①The Kanagawa phenomenon, pathogenicity to mouse and characteristics of decomposing sucrose could be the main index for explaining the kind of samples contaminated by the Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains.②The Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains, with Kanagawa phenomenon negtive and indole test positive, could not be neglected in daily works.③The drug resistance of different Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains was the same on the whole.
