Abstract
The adsorption properties of modified sorghum stalk for Cr(Ⅵ) were determined. The results showed that the modified sorghum stalk had a good adsorption behavior to Cr(Ⅵ).At room temperature, the removal efficiency of 0.15g modified sorghum stalk under 100 min vibration time for Cr(Ⅵ) solution with condition of 20 mL,20 mg/L and pH 2.5 can be up to 98.11%.The adsorption behavior of modified sorghum stalk for Cr(Ⅵ) in aqueous solution is accorded with Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms equation, which indicated that the adsorption process relies mainly on monomolecular physical adsorption.
