Abstract

By taking Paraserianthes falcataria tube seedlings of three clones, namely TL12, TL16 and TL18, as the tested materials, the effects of different substrates on the seedlings transplanting survival rate survival were investigated. The results show that the substrates not only affected the survival rate but also in different seasons the different substrates should be used, under different rooting status of tube seedlings the different substrates should be applied; When transplanted in the period from April to May, TL12 and TL18 seedlings rooting from callus and with big callus needed the substrates with good moisture retention property, such as yellow subsoil or yellow subsoil plus other substrates; but TL16 and TL18 seedlings rooting from phloem and with small callus needed the substrates with good aeration property, such as perlite, sandy loam or sandy loam plus a small amount of yellow subsoil; When transplanted in June, TL16 seedlings turned to need the substrate of yellow subsoil with good water-retaining property.
