Abstract

The effects of seedlings specifications on transplanting survival rate and growth of tube seedlings of Paraserianthes falcataria clone TL18 were investigated. The results show that the seedlings specifications not only affected transplanting survival rate but also seedling growth, there existed resistibility differences in different specifications seedlings to high temperature;the seedlings with an height of 3.1 ~ 6 cm are qualified for transplanting and had the highest survival rate;the seedlings with an height more than 6 cm and the comtaminated seedlings are the secondary qualified class, had higher survival rate, the seedling with an height of 2.5~ 3 cm and the seedlings without roots are unqualified. The survival course of transplanting and rooting are divided into four periods, and they are lethal period, adaptation period, and growth recovery period and stable period.
