Abstract

Objective:To establish a method for the determination of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid in Yejuhua injection simultaneously. Methods:The reversed phase HPLC system consisting of a C+(18) column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 ;μm)and a mixture of acetonitrile-water-phosphoric acid(12:88:0.04) as the mobile phase was adopt- ed.The absorbance was monitored at 327 nm.Results:The linear response range was 2.0~20.0 μg·mL~(-1)(r= 0.9997)and 0.2~2.1 μg·mL~(-1)(r=0.9998),respectively(n=6).The average recoveries(n=9)of chloro- genic acid and caffeic acid were 101.4% and 99.4%,respectively.Conclusion:The assay demonstrated that the method had adequate accuracy and selectivity to measure the concentrations of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid in Yejuhua injection.
