Abstract

Objective To reveal indoor air pollution of formaldehyde in the newly decorative rooms in Nanning,and to provide a scientific basis for the future conduct of indoor air pollution prevention and control work.Methods The formaldehyde level of indoor air was assayed directly after decorative materials was used in 2006.Results The formaldehyde concentrations of 368 investigaled sites in 95 families with indoor decoration were surveyed,in which 298 sites were qualified.The Over standard rate of formaldehyde was 19.0%.Conclusion Decorative materials can lead to severe indoor air formaldehyde pollution.
