The Yuan-you Style refers to the style of poems,formed in the responsory activities in Beijing in the Yuan-you years of the Song Dynasty,is characterized with poems based on characters,talents and arguments.Influenced by the fashion,the Yuan-you poems by Qin Guan are also characterized with the Yuan-you style,which diversified the poetic expression.However,some evil elements remained in the Yuan-you style.In a word,the poems of the Yuan-you style written by Qin Guan in this period were not many,and whose achievements could not match those of Su and Huang.So people consider his poems are not like the poems of the Song Dynasty.Anyway,the poems by Qin Guan avoided those demerits in the poems of the Song Dynasty,instead he formed his own characteristics.
