Abstract
Objective:To investigate the value of differential diagnosis of ultrasound elastography in benign and malignant tumors of thyroid. Methods:58 patients with 70 thyroid nodules in our hospital from July 2008 to July 2012 were examinated by conventional ultrasound and ultrasound elastography, the elastography score of malignant and benign tumors of the thyroid were compared. Results:There were 33 malignant nodules, and 37 benign nodules in 70 nodules.Sensitivity of ultrasound elastography was 90.91%(30/33),specificity was 72.97%(27/37),accuracy was 81.43%(57/70).There was statistically significantabout elastography score between the thyroid benign and malignant tumors( 字2 =29.066, P0.01).Conclusion:There is higher accuracy for ultrasound elasticity imaging in the diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors of the thyroid. It has a very important reference value.
